Using NWFriends.org
We hope that NWFriends.org is a resource that everyone takes advantage of. All of the latest news and information will be available on this site. Hopefully this brief guide (and included photos) help you use the website to its full potential.
You can move through the site by using the nine navigation links at the top of every page.

Once you have entered a section you will see a listing of pages in that section on the side.

You will also see something that’s known as a breadcrumb just under the navigation links. The breadcrumb lets you know where you are, according to the organization of the website. The breadcrumb is linked, so you can easily track your way back through the website.

The list of events on the home page is tied into the calendar. This is a public calendar that you can subscribe to in two different ways.
The first way is to subscribe to the iCal feed. You can find the iCal feed on the home page by locating this icon (
). You can subscribe to the iCal feed if you use an iCal compatible calendaring system such as Apple’s iCal or Google’s Calendar.
The second way is to subscribe to the RSS feed. You can find the RSS feed on the home page by locating this icon (
).
Similar to the calendar, you can subscribe to the latest news and articles two different ways. The first is to add those feeds to your RSS feed reader by locating this icon on the home page (
). And if RSS is not your thing we have made it available to you to subscribe to the updates via email. You will want to look for this icon on the home page (
). You will see that the news and articles are produced in separate feeds, so you will need to subscribe to both if you want to receive both.
